It’s been a long time since I referred to a “date” as a date. Most of the time they are Zero dates (see Christina Wallace’s TED Radio Talk) or meet and greets. But this, with her…this, was a date! And it felt good. I want to feel this way more.  I deserve to feel this way more.   I want that special person where the conversation is easy, there is no judgment for being transparent or honest. To have that one person you can divide sorrows with and multiply your joys. One where the love we have for God is a common bond so we can share that uncommon love with each other and all around us.

Whether she is a destination or just another leg of the journey God has for me it was a good night.
